The following applies to HP systems with Intel 6th Gen and other future-generation processors on systems shipping with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 Pro systems downgraded to Windows 7 Professional, Windows 8 Pro, or Windows 8.1: This version of Windows running with the processor or chipsets used in this system has limited. - Welcome to the HP® Official website to setup your printer. Get started with your new printer by downloading the software. You will be able to connect the printer to a network and print across devices.
- In Solution Center, click Scan Document, and then select a scan to PDF shortcut to set up and scan the item. Click Scan, and then click Finish to save the scanned file. To view your scan, open the folder in which you saved the scan, and then double-click the file.
You can use the printer's control panel to scan documents, photos, and other originals
and send them to a variety of destinations, such as a folder on a computer. You can
also scan these originals from your computer using either the HP software provided
with the printer or TWAIN-compliant or WIA-compliant programs.
When scanning documents, you can use the HP software to scan documents into
a format that you can search, copy, paste, and edit.
NOTE: The HP Scanning Software does not support TWAIN and WIA scanning on
computers running Mac OS X.
NOTE: Some scan functions are only available after you install the HP
recommended software.
